"will you deliver our wedding cake?"
Yes I deliver free of charge within a 20 mile radius, outside of this there may be a small delivery charge. When delivered to your venue the cake will be set up and displayed in the place of your choice.
  2. 2
"can each tier of our wedding cake be a different flavour?"
Yes that's no problem at all. If you are choosing to have one tier as a fruit cake then it is advisable to have this as the bottom tier but other than that the choice of flavours is yours
  3. 3
"am I able to use fresh flowers on my wedding cake?"
Yes, fresh flowers can look beautiful on a cake. I am able to supply and arrange the flowers , or this can be carried out by your florist. I will work with your florist to ensure the flowers supplied are food safe and complement the design of your cake. Edible fresh flowers can also be provided, at an additional cost.
  4. 4
"we have special dietary requirements, are you able to help?"
Yes, I can provide cakes to cater for any dietary need, nut free, gluten free, diary free, egg free. I will also ensure the cooking utensils and oven are free from contamination prior to preparing your cake. A list of ingredients can also be supplied.
  5. 5
"can we sample your cakes before ordering?"
Yes, I will supply a selection of sample cakes, free of charge, at your first consultation meeting. If you have ideas of the flavours you would like to try then just let me know and I will bring them along. Please also let me know if you have any special dietary requirements.
  6. 6
"I don't know what type of cake I want, can you help me?"
Yes, at your first consultation meeting we will come up with the design of your cake. We can talk about any themes or colours you have chosen for your special day, look at any pictures that have caught your eye and together come up with the perfect design.
  7. 7
    "can I change my design?"
Yes, designs can normally be changed up to one month prior to your wedding. However, if you have chosen a fruit cake then the cake would normally be made a long way in advance and so any changes may incur an additional cost.
  8. 8
"how much notice do you need to order a wedding cake?"
As much as possible if you can. To ensure the high quality of my cakes I limit the amount of cakes I make for any week, it is always worth checking to see if I have availability at short notice, but if you can the more notice the better.
